For a beautiful and high-quality manicure, follow these five rules:
1. While working, “use the head”. Every movement of the drill bit must be thought of. Don’t work mechanically.
2. After the process of the manicure, in a couple of weeks, send a message to your clients and ask how their manicure is going. Analyze your mistakes.
3. If you want to practice a new manicure technique, invite a model for a free manicure and work with her very slowly, thinking about every step.
4. Make the manicure in your own hand. This will give you an opportunity to understand what pressure you must have the drill bit while working and find out where it hurts not to do this with a client.
5. If you are a manicurist, beginners training on models at least five times a week. This is the only way you can exercise your hand quickly and improve your manicure speed.
And don’t forget that nothing is impossible. If somebody could do it, then you could also do it for sure!
Today, I’m going to work with this nail. To make the gel polish removal, I’m going to use the pine-shape carbide drill bit. To make the gel polish removal faster, we must use the drill bit which is sharp, and that’s why I recommend using one with 15 clients maximum and then change it.
After that, I use orange stick to push the cuticle. A drill bit which I use working inside the cuticle is named “flame,” and it’s my favorite drill bit. With the time, it gets smoother, also that’s why I recommend using it not more than with 15 clients.
I cut the cuticle with Yoko brand nail pliers. Then, I degrease the nail and I will apply the base coat.
Next the client dries the nails in the lamp for 30 seconds, and I’m starting to work with polygel of Linto brand. I tried it and fell in love. Polygel applies very gently, and when I file the nail, it feels so easy and comfortable. Now the nail looks straight and beautiful, and I will apply the color base coat.
Look at this color. It is fabulous. Even I want to eat it!
So now I’m applying the color base, and voila. The nail is ready. Don’t forget to follow my page for more information.
I polish the cuticle after the manicure:
1) if the client has a dry skin type
2) if, after the manicure, there are small hangnails left that are difficult to remove with scissors or nail pliers
▪️While polishing, I use Monarda cuticle oil; it is antibacterial and perfectly moisturizes the skin.
▪️I use a small-diameter brown polisher.
▪️The rotation speed of the drill should be low, with a maximum of 9,000 revolutions.
▪️It is necessary to work with light movements without pressure so that the client doesn’t feel hot.
▪️And I polish the cuticle until the oil is completely absorbed into the skin.
After that, the cuticle looks moisturized and without greasy shine, which is ideal for macro photography of your manicure.
